Frequently Asked Questions

Can I still create my own social media posts?

Yes! While we'll do all of the heavy lifting when it comes to creating and posting to your social media, you are still free to create your own social media posts. In fact, you should still make posts specific to your own funeral home (although you don't have to). You create and schedule posts on our Social Planner, or you can post directly from your social media platform or Meta Business Suite.

Do you create custom social media posts?

We create general content that is then personalized for your funeral home. Each image will contain your branding, and the text will be personalized to include your funeral home name, phone number, etc. However, we don't offer custom social media posting plans at this time.

What will the aftercare emails say?

We write a series of compassionate emails addressed to the family contact or next of kin. Emails will address the contact by name and reference the decedent. Emails will be automatically sent from the staff member that serviced the family. We can customize the email wording for your funeral home, if needed. Here's an example of a 30-day email:

Dear Mr. John,

I just wanted to take a minute to reach out and say that we are thinking of you. I know this has been a very difficult and challenging time for you and your family with the loss of Mrs. Jane. Nothing ever really fills the hole left by our loved ones, but we take consolation and hope in knowing we have all of the precious memories and the legacy that Jane left behind. Those can never be lost.

Thank you for your confidence and trust in me and our team at Anytown Mortuary in handling the arrangements for Jane. It was and is an honor to serve you and your family. Our 60-day email not only checks in with the family, but it also respectfully introduces pre-need arrangements, helping you sell more pre-need arrangements.

What if my funeral home doesn't sell pre-need arrangements?

That's ok. We will adjust your email sequence so that it doesn't introduce pre-need to your client. We will also exclude any posts about pre-need from your social media posting schedule.

Can I email a batch of clients at once?

Yes! You can batch email to a group of selected contacts using the Wreath system. You can search for and filter contacts by all sorts of criteria.

For example, let's say you're hosting an end-of-year Celebration of Life for all of the families who lost loved ones in the current calendar year. Wreath makes it easy to filter contacts by date range based on the date of death and email them personalized emails all at once.

We'll even help you set up the email templates based on your needs!

We just ask that you don't go crazy with bulk emails, as it can create deliverability issues if you abuse it (not that you would, of course!).

If you anticipate high-volume sending (over 1,000 emails per month), please let us know.
